This refined flight simulator includes a physics modeler that can simulate various weather conditions, as well as advanced technologies such as dynamic speech synthesis; hardware-accelerated, texture-mapped graphics; OpenGL support; serial-port output to drive cockpit instruments; motion systems; and moving maps. Other features include a variety of runway surfaces, oil rigs with helipads, and full rendering of other air traffic for formation flying. Cockpit textures, plane textures, and sounds are all customizable.
