‘DupDupDel’ has a peculiar name with two Dup, one of which may be removed with Del. It is a joke, but in each joke there is only part of a joke. Seriously speaking, this program is intended for search and removal of duplicates of files on your desktop.

Did you ever wonder how many duplicate files you have on your hard disks and how much space they occupy? Run this software and find it. To accomplish this task you have to go through three steps.

‘Step 1’ is for 'selection of the directories' where you want to look for duplicates. You may search in several directories at once filling the list just clicking Add button.
‘Step 2’ is for ‘setting file filter’. You may choose file names to process by setting file name mask like this: *.jpg, *.png etc.
‘Step 3’ is for 'setting the options'. You can make a few comparing settings like 'Name', 'Size', ‘Date/Time’ and others by checking corresponding boxes.

Now you are ready for search. You will not wait for a long time in spite of directory size. This program is really fast. I have never seen faster software than this one for such kind of tasks.

As the result of previous steps you will get the list of files which are grouped by identities. Now you can decide which files are unnecessary, select them and delete or move. You can copy some of them as well.
Unfortunately you can't preview the files found as duplicates. The only available features are opening it with a predefined viewer or the folder containing the selected file. In case of pictures the preview would be very useful. Maybe in the next release we will see it.
This software allows saving the result of search as report and investigating it later.

This program is not the first one, which do these tasks but one of the few that works good, fast and above all, has the best price/scope ratio.
The user interface is intuitive and I think you will find it very easy to use.
