System features

• Multiplatform – Our development methods have made it easy to prepare versions of the application for different operating systems. At present, Windows, Linux are supported. Application instances running on different platforms are of course fully interoperable.

• Integrated – All application modules form part of the same system and use the same common database. This means that any changes are immediately visible throughout the system.

• Completely network-based – Use of the client-server architecture has made it possible to deploy the system in practically any conceivable network configuration, from a single workstation to a complex network system where a central database server is used by many clients connecting over the Internet, running a variety of operating systems. The database is managed by the Firebird SQL Server.

• Flexible – The system contains as few fixed parameters as possible.

• Secure – The application features an advanced access control system which ensures secure management of users' module access rights and system privileges. Inaccessible system functionality is simply hidden from users. An automatic data backup facility is also provided.

• Minimal administration – Once installed, the system requires practically no administrative actions. Installation is fully automated for deployment on a single workstation, while even very complex system configurations are easy to build.

• Low licensing costs – The licence covers the installation of the system on an unlimited number of workstations and includes program versions for all supported operating systems.
